“ We were looking for a mom and pop restaurant while traveling on I69. Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant had good reviews, so we thought we would try it. It was an easy, quick drive, and definitely better than the chain stores! The first thing i noticed was that there were lots of cars in the parking lot, which is always a good sign! The food was fast, hot, and delicious! The staff was feiendly ans helpful. The restaurant was very clean. I thought that if the dining area and bathrooms were that clean that the kitchen probably is too! The horse sculptures were cool, too! The meal came with chips and salsa. We ordered a little queso. We like fajitas. The lunch menu had them on the menu, but we added meats to make it chicken, steak, and shrimp. It was plenty for the two of us to share. We had one drink and one water and the total was under 28 plus tip. Will save this spot in case we travel through again! ”

I always ask my wife why we don't eat here more often and she reminds me it's because we love 2 hrs away, but I lived within 45 minutes I'd be a regular.
